The Hot One

Carter & Rye was founded in 2019 in Omaha, NE. Co-Founded by besties with a vision for the future. Kate “Carter” Anderson and Sarah “Rye” Ryan partnered their greatest loves, pastries and specialty coffee, in order to create delicious, fun-loving eating experiences.

Our sweet and savory hand pies are always made from scratch, using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. We hope to create meaningful and sustainable careers within the food industry, empowering others to do the same while working toward transparency in prices and sourcing. A good reminder: It is not the employer who pays the wages, it is the product that pays the wages! Buying our product means supporting people, families, and the community.
